Setting aside time to focus on you is one more place to experiment with "feeding" yourself. Chronic health conditions often force us to back out of daily responsibilities and make more time for ourselves. But rarely do we give into this without a fight. However, it's worth considering that painful symptoms may actually serve a healthy purpose if they make you take notice of imbalances in your life that you intuitively know aren't helping you.
